Our support service provides emotional and practical support (face-to-face, telephone, email, online, peer support groups) or through assisting or signposting someone to other relevant agencies for support.
The support services are:
- Respectful of choice
- Understanding towards the people in the survivor’s community
- Specialists in issues concerning sexual violence and the taboo surrounding it in some communities
- Fully on the side of the victims and survivors
- There to support and empower those it supports
Support will provide you with an opportunity to talk things through and find practical ways of looking after yourself.
It will also help you identify and use coping strategies to deal with difficult emotions and provide information for you to read and resources you can use to help.
